We use a variety of musical settings for our liturgy which lay assistants, both male and female, help lead. We sing hymns of meaningful poetry and stirring melody, both old and new. Most of our music is sung with organ or piano accompaniment.

The choir at Mt. Calvary is a small but fun group and is always happy to have new members. Classical and traditional choir music is sung with piano or organ accompaniment. All are welcome regardless of background, religious belief, or musical ability.

Choir rehearsals:

Wednesday evenings during the school year, 7:00-8:30pm. The choir usually sings twice a month during worship (Sunday mornings, 9:00am).

Sheila Willey Hannon has been with us for 14 years. She is a member of the voice faculty at UCSC and has directed other choirs in the community.
